I feel as if…中的as if是方式状语从句还是表语从句

I feel as if I were floating on air.

这个为什么说是 as if 引导的方式状语从句？我觉得应该是在feel后的表语从句啊？

(1) as if 用在系动词(be,look,seem,feel,等)后引导表语从句

I feel as though the house is shaking.

我感觉这个房子好像在摇动.

He looks as if he were an American boy.

他看起来好像是一个美国男孩

It seems as if she had been to the moon many times.

她好像去过月球上很多次.

Why doesn't she buy me a drink?It isn't as if she had no money!

她为什么不给我买一点饮料?好像她没钱似的!

（备注：有些语法书还认为是方式状语从句；由于系动词+表语，可以当作表语从句理解）

(2) as if 用在行为动词(act, say, talk,等)后引导方式状从句

The injured man acted as if nothing had happened to him

这个伤员表现得好像在他身上什么事情都没有发生过

She ran as if the Old Boy were after her.
她跑得飞快好像魔鬼在追她似的。

The man talked as if he had known the truth of the accident

那个人谈起来好像知道事故的真实情况

They completely ignore these facts as if (as though) they never existed.

他们完全忽略了这些事实，就仿佛它不存在似的。（与事实相反，谓语用虚拟语气。）
