Nowadays more and more parents are making their efforts to send their children who are still senior high school students to study abroad. There are many advantages for them to do so on one hand. But on the other hand, there are many disadvantages.

For one thing, studying abroad is good for the students. Foreign countries can provide a better environment for them to study English and they can learn how to be independent in a foreign country. Besides, studying abroad offers an opportunity for them to learn how to get on well with strangers.

For another thing, there are many bad points. Firstly, the culture shock brings some difficulties to Chinese students when they communicate with foreigners. Secondly, the living standard in a foreign country is often higher than that inChina. And besides loneliness and homesickness are the problems for them.

So, we should look at this problem from every side. The students can choose to study aborad, but they should consider the reality at the same time.
