看到句中的分号了吧，这表明上下两句话是并列句，即上文一定要是一个句子，B / C / D都不是一个句子，因为都没有自己的谓语动词。C 选项中的 is 是从句中的动词，你把从句去掉以后，它所对应的前面那一部分没有动词，不是一个句子，因此无法与分号后的句子构成并列结构。（另：一定要把题目打完整，最好标明出处。）
