▲用介词 of 的例子比较普遍，如：

There is much confusion concerning the events of October 8th. 关于10月8日的事件，有许多混淆不清的地方。

We received your communication of 11th March and are sorry to inform you that we won’t be attending the conference. 我们收到了贵方3月11日的来函，但很遗憾地通知你们，我们不能出席会议。

▲若强调在某天发生的情况，也可以用介词 on（其实是表示在某天的……），如：

the solar eclipse on May 21st 5月21日的日食

The meeting on 31 October is rearranged for 30 January. 10月31日的会议重新安排到了1月30日。

The celebration of the centenary will culminate with a dinner on November 20. 百年庆典活动将在11月20日的宴会中宣告结束。

▲若用所有格的情况相对比较少见，但也不是不可以，比如下面一句：
