This is why…还是That is why…

这句为何用的是 this is why…? 而不是 that’s why… 呢？我们平常不是都说 that’s why…吗？这样用有什么特别之处吗？

不过，that's why...中的that也可以译为“这”，并不是那么严格。如：

That is (the reason) why I came early. 这就是我来早了的原因。《牛津高阶英汉双解词典》

That is (the reason) why he raised the question. 这就是他所以提出问题的原因。《现代英汉综合大辞典》

That is why I'm working hard at my lesson. 就是这个原因,我要努力学习。《简明英汉词典》

两者的区别就是 this 与 that 的区别：

This is why… 意思是：这就是……的原因。

That is why… 意思是：那就是……的原因。
