vendor 和 hawker 都可以表示“小贩”,区别很小,常可换用。但细分的话:vendor 多指街有固定摊位的小贩,而 hawker 则多指流动性的叫卖小贩。另外,vendor 属中性词,无褒贬之分,而 hawker 则有时含有贬义,指令人反感的叫卖东西。
