For some reason, the curtains were shut...
For some inexplicable reason she was attracted to Patrick.
2.《新牛津英汉双解大词典》P1766：for some reason
used to convey that one doesn't know the reason for a particular state of sffairs,often woth the implication that one finds it strange or surprising. 不知什么原因，不知何故。例如：
For some reason, he likes you.
For some reason the charcoal wasn’t catching. 意思是：不知什么原因，木炭点不着。

reason 既可以是可数又可以是不可数名词。我认为这句子里的some是“某”之意，例如 some day（某一天）。仅供参考，也盼专家老师给予权威详实的指导。

这个reason不可数吗
