signature 与 autograph 都表示“签名”，区别如下：

1. signature指对文件或信件等的签名。如：

Can you read this signature? 你认识这个签名吗?

The document bore his signature. 这份文件有他的签字。

They returned her cheque because she hadn’t put her signature on it. 他们把支票退给了她，因为她没有在支票上签名。

2. autograph 指名人的签名。如：

I’ve got lots of famous footballers’ autographs. 我有许多著名足球运动员的亲笔签名。

After the concert, ha came up to me to ask for my autograph. 音乐会后，他走到我跟前要我给他签名。

When he became famous, people stopped him in the street and asked for his autograph. 他成名之后，常有人在街上拦住他要他签名。
