there is 和 have (got) 都表示“有”，其他表示类似含义的表达也可以这样用，比如当 with 表示“有”时，也可以这样用。如：
The Dolphins are still in the lead with only 3 minutes left to play. 离完场只存 3 分钟，海琢队仍处领先地位。
The polls show Labour leading with only 10 days left until the election. 民意测验表明在离竞选仅剩10天时工党处于领先。
With only 10 seconds left, this is a do-or-die situation for the team. If they don't score, the game is over. 只剩下10秒钟，这是球队生死攸关的时刻。如果他们不能得分，比赛就结束了。
有时也可能是省略结构。如：
Only two buses left during the morning. 整个上午只开出了两辆公共汽车。
当然以上用法并不是绝对的，用于其他句型也是可能的。如：
It’s the only maternity ward left in Warsaw. 这是华沙剩下的惟一的产科病房。
