冠词和中心词之间的单复数形式

我在某网站看到这么一个对比：

A black and a white dogs are playing in the yard. 一只黑狗和一只白狗正在院子里玩。（两只狗）

A black and white dog is playing in the yard. 一只黑白花狗正在院子里玩。(一只狗)

该网站认为这两句话都是对的。但是我对A black and a white dogs are playing in the yard.是否正确存在疑问。这种说法正确吗？

类似的，An apple and a coconut trees are in the park. 这个句子是否正确呢？

第一句有误：dogs 应为dog。或者改为a black dog and a white dog 则表达得更清楚。同理，你自己的例句，trees也应做类似更改。
