请问各位老师，我想知道为什么用interesting而不是interestingly，查阅COCA上的例句，我发现more interesting在句中多数作补语或者定语，作状语的情况比more interestingly少见很多。原文里的more interesting可以分析成一个无动词分句充当评注性状语或者其他非正式用法吗？

关于“more + 形容词”单独用作状语的用法，语法上是有认可的，只是要从词典上找一个 more interesting 的例句可能不容易。COLLINS COBUILD 在其 Grammar Patterns 2: nouns and adjectives 有过解释，并认为最经常这样用的形容词是 important，但 COLLINS COBUILD 并没有指出除 important 外还有哪些形容词可以这样用，不过根据他所给出的例句，至少 significant 也可以这样用。

又如章振邦教授的《高级英语语法》也提到了此用法，并给出更多形容词的实例：
