object有两种结构，一个是object to (doing) something，表示“反对（做）某事”，一个是object that 宾语从句，表示“反对说”，提出反对的理由。这里就是这两个结构的糅合，平时见到的好像比较少。
1. Idealists have objected to the practice of camping.
2. Idealists have objected that the traveller abroad thereby denies himself the opportunity of getting to know the people of the country visited.
→两者组合
3. Idealists have objected to the practice of camping, as to the package tour, that the traveller abroad thereby denies himself the opportunity of getting to know the people of the country visited.
因为中间有了as of短语隔开，所以前后加了逗号，否则that从句前不需要用逗号。
