根据英语语法,有些集合名词既可表单数意义也可以表复数意义(用作主语时可与单数或复数动词连用),这些名词如 class (班级),club (俱乐部),committee (委员会),company (公司), council (理事会),government (政府),group (小组),jury (陪审团),team (队) 等。
我的疑问如下:
(1) 假若这些后面接定语从句,可以用关系代词 who 来引导吗?可以用关系代词 which 吗?当然 that 肯定没有问题。它们的区别是什么?
(2) 假若用于It is…that…这样的强调句式,可以 who 来代替 that 吗?(当然用that肯定是没问题的)

这类集合名词若视为整体,表示单数意义;若考虑其个体成员,表示复数意义。显然,在它们表达整体意义并充当先行词时,定语从句往往用 that 或 which 来引导;当它们强调个体成员意义(即指人)并充当先行词时,定语从句可以用 that 或 who 来引导。在强调句中,如果被强调的集合名词是表达个体成员意义的,当然可以用 It is / was ...who...来强调。
