1 Nothing but is beautiful in the whole. 这不是一个完整的句子，而只是一个名词词组。but在此是关系代词，等于that...not。即nothing that is not beautiful in the whole.
2 each在此为代词，通常分析为主语的同位语。当each位于复数主语之后时，谓语动词通常用复数形式。each通常位于实意动词之前。有些作者会把each放在实意动词之后，这有矫揉做作之嫌疑。The freedictionay 对此有如下评论：
