并列的 whether 从句可以省略后面一个连词吗
请问老师：
1. whether引导从句，如果连接两个独立句，是否前面和后面都必须使用whether？比如or后面的whether能否省略？
2.下面的句子正确吗？
It is unclear whether both the men and women are young or whether only just the men are young.

句子当然是正确的。但省略第二个 whether 显得更简洁。
