定语从句、much、省略的问题

1、The amount each person contributes decide will be left to the discretion of the individual.捐款数额将由每个人自己决定

问题1: 请曹老师判断一下;我感觉这个amount后面跟了一个定语从句修饰amount，但是each person contributes decide这个定语从句我搞不明白哪个是谓语。

2.He might fool some people for a little while through misleading advertising.

问题2:请教曹老师，这个while后面为啥跟了一个介词短语呢？是因为省略了主语和谓语吗？如果是省略，麻烦老师说明一下省略的谓语是啥呢？我感觉省略的主语是he.

3.He retorted that it was my fault as much as his.

问题3:请教老师，这个much是副词作下加状语修饰fault的嘛?

1 这么明显的错误你看不出来？删去多余的decide。2 while在此是名词。for a little while = for a short time. 3 A as much as B = not only B but also A. 句子意思是：他反驳说，这不仅是他的错，也是我的错。
