2 短语动词的翻译

请问各位老师，我在抄记短语时遇到了一个这样的问题：

eg1：She entered the room and threw off her wet coat.

eg2：We ran flat out for about half a mile before we could throw them off.

这是我在查throw off（中间没有省略号）意思时给出的例句，请问老师在第二局中能否改成throw off them.如果不行的又是何种原因？是不是off位置的不同使得throw off所表达的含义不同呢？还请老师解答！

throw off“脱去；摆脱；抛弃”是“动词+副词”构成的短语动词，eg1: 她走进房间，脱掉湿外套。threw off her wet coat = threw her wet coat off；eg2: 我们拼命跑了大约半英里才把他们甩掉。throw them off不能写成throw off them。“动词+介词”和“动词+副词”构成的短语动词在接宾语的时候通常要注意以下几点：

1. 若是“动词+介词”，宾语一律置于介词之后。例如：

I have looked for her (the girl) high and low. 我已经到处找过她（那姑娘）了。

2. 若是“动词+副词”，可直接跟名词作宾语，将“动词+副词”看作是谓语；也可将名词置于动词和副词之间，副词作宾语补足语。例如：

They took away the boy and held him to ransom. = They took the boy away and held him to ransom.他们劫持男孩勒索赎金。

3. 若是“动词+副词”且代词作宾语，代词必须置于动词和副词之间，副词作宾语补足语。例如：

Please dry the dishes and put them away. 请你把餐具擦干，收拾好。

▲但要注意一些既可作副词也可作介词的词（如in, on, over等）。比较：

Will you please bring him in? 请把他带进来好吗？

I believe in him, so I believe what he said. 我信任他，所以我相信他的话。
