1. 在周末的“未”和在月末的“末”，在英文中的含义不一样。“在周末” 不是“在一周的末尾”之意，而是周六+周日，所以“在周末”的实际含义是“在周六和周日这段时间”。而“在月末”才是“在一个月的末尾”之意。末尾，“点”的概念，所以用at。

2. 如果去掉“end”，“在周末”用on用at都可以，美英用法差异而已：

on the weekend = at the weekend

on weekends = at weekends
