词汇辨析

曹老师我想请教下：

reveal和disclose都表示“透露”时，可以区分嘛？

查字典表示“reveal—make sth known to sb”

“disclose—disclose new or secret, you tell people about it"

例句：Members of Parliament are required to disclose all their financial interests.

这里感觉用“reveal”如果按字典上解释，感觉也可以，所以想请教下老师，如何区分一下这两词，当作“透露”意思时。
