1. A sacred place of peace, however crude it may be, is a distinctly human need, as opposed to shelter, which is a distinctly animal need.

问题：1句中，as比较分句是主语a sacred place of peace，还是整个主句内容的修饰语呢？是做的方式状语吗？

2. The plan as (is) currently conceived is seriously flawed.

问题：2句中，as是作的the plan的修饰语吗？即as分句的主语为空位

问题：看到曹老师在解答中说“as in everything else= as it is in everything else；in everything else不是表语，而是对应in sport，是状语。it 为人称代词指代attitude，is为系词，as替代all important, 在从句中作表语。”请教曹老师，这个as比较分句作的是方式状语吗？

1 as比较分句是主语的非限制性修饰语，由于分句的表语带有非限制性定语，所以比较分句后移到句末，被主句的谓语部分分隔。（主句的主语和谓语部分之间还插入了一个让步状语）。as分句与方式无关！

2 是的，as比较分句是主语的限制性修饰语，as分句的主语为空位。

3 不是方式状语。as比较分句可以分析为评注性状语，即说话人对句子所做的解释。又如：She is tall, as her mother is. 你不能说as分句是方式状语。
