请问下面这句话关系副词 when 如何替换成“介词+which”?

There are many times when Aron almost lost his legs.

这句话里先行词是次数 many times，它可以直接做状语，因此介词是否多余，本身先行词 many times 直接可做状语，那无法替换，这应该如何处理？

There are many times后接定语从句，从句通常由关系副词when引导，其次是关系副词that引导。也可以省略关系词，或者说由零关系词引导。介词+which相对是使用最少的。但我在语料库还是找到了二个例句：

There are certainly many times in which the dominant moral feelings, institutions, norms, and language are structured either explicitly or implicitly so as to systematically exclude various Othered groups.

I found some wonderful teachers -- Deborah Wingert at MMAC and Pam Probisco at Steps to name a few -- but there were many times in which I forked over as much as $18 and left feeling neither warm nor fulfilled as a dancer/artist.
