3 rather than sb do sth是什么用法
看到这样一个句子：
Rather than Mary do the work, I'd prefer to do it myself.
这里的 do 为什么没用 does 呢？这是虚拟语气吗？

网友句子中的 do 是省略 to 的不定式（不是虚拟语气）。如果要用所谓的虚拟语气可以是：
Rather than (that) Mary should do the work, I'd prefer to do it myself.
