有关 not...but...的用法疑问

为何将 I don't see nobody but you 译为“除了你，我看不到任何人”？

“任何人”是 anyone,原句不应是 I don't see anyone but you 吗？

but在否定句中译为“除...外”，原句不应是“我不看没有任何人除了你”，即“我看见了任何人除了你”吗？

查阅相关语法，发现but作关系代词时，定语从句形式上肯定，意义上否定，但这里成分不是关系代词呀! 第一次提问，烦请老师解答。

错误： I don't see nobody but you.

正确： I don't see anyone but you.(= I see nobody but you.) 除了你，我看不到任何人。

注意：这里的 but 是介词，不是关系代词。

【1】nothing but+名词=only +名词(sth/sb) 仅仅/只有某事/某物；

除了……没有什么……;

Nothing but a miracle can save her now.=Only a miracle can save her now.

现在只有出现奇迹才能救活她。

I want nothing but the best for my children.=I only want the best for my children.

我只是想给我的孩子们最好的。

【2】nobody but+(表示人的名词）=only +名词仅仅/只有某人；除了……谁都不……;

.Nobody but you likes tomato soup. =Only you like tomato soup.

除了你没人喜欢番茄汤.

He thinks of nobody but himself. =He thinks of only himself

他只考虑他自己,从来不管别人.
