曹老师您好! 向您请教下面这句话中 ruled by a son who hated her 的理解：

For the last years of her life she lived in a place which she was not liked, ruled by a son who hated her.

如果非谓语短语的逻辑主语是前面被修饰的名词 place，那么非谓语做定语，修饰 place。

但是不是也可以这么理解：非谓语短语的逻辑主语是主句的主语 she, 非谓语短语做了动词 live 的伴随状语？

网友抄错了一个单词，应该为关系副词where

For the last years of her life she lived in a place where she was not liked, ruled by a son who hated her.

参考译文：在她的余生中，她住在她儿子控制/统治的地方，在那个(地方)是她不受(别人)喜欢的地方，她儿子很恨她。

以上句子语法结构分析如下

For the last years of her life 【时间状语】// she【主语】// lived【谓语动词】// in a place【地点状语】// where she was not liked【修饰place后置定语(1)】// , ruled by a son who hated her【修饰place后置定语(2)】// .

备注(1)：where she was not liked.为关系副词where引导限制性定语从句修饰前面名词place，关系副词where在定语从句作地点状语。

备注(2):ruled by a son who hated her为过去分词作后置定语修饰名词place相当于定语从句which was ruled by a son who hated her.

备注(3):who hated her为定语从句修饰son，关系代词who在定语从句作主语。
