如果能抛开/忽视汉字“显”的干扰,你会发现significant和obvious根本算不上是同义词或者近义词。significant 强调“事情的重要”(sth is important)或意义非凡,所以你完全可以用这个词替代important;而obvious强调的是“显而易见”、“无需过多解释”(sth is clear without explanation)。所以你想表达诸如“地球人都知道......”之类的意思时,就可以用它。
