5 living with us since是having lived with us since的非正式用法吗

[问] 请问老师，上面的living with us since he returned可以看作是having lived...非正式用法吗？

上面的living with us since he returned应该相当于having been living with us since he returned, 也可以用having lived 在这里差别不大。注意第二句中的is to be 的用法，这里相当于should be. 另外，关于第一句，我查了一下《葛传椝惯用法词典》，该书把living的用法解释为living as he has lived, 我认为不应该是这个意思，应该是having been living 的省略说法。
