单独过去分词做前置定语

请问这里是prosecuted是单独的过去分词做前置定语吗，为什么我查不到prosecuted这个形容词，它没有形容词词性它好像只有动词那能做形容词吗？

解答：prosecuted 在句中不是“形容词用法” 而使“过去分词”作定语用法

prosecuted firms=the firms which were prosecuted =被起诉的公司
