关于the和a的用法

老师们好，最近做到了一道改错题，由于参考答案解释地相当模糊，所以想向老师们请教下，题目如下。

The beauty of a porcelain jar is the matter of shape, of color,of surface texture. 这里参考答案将matter前的the换成了a ，我想这里用the，瓷罐的美是特指形状颜色和表面纹理的事情，不是也符合语法规则么？

a matter of (something) 是习语，这里要用不定冠词，意为...的问题/事情。例如：

Stress at work is a matter of concern to staff and management.

工作压力是一件让员工和管理人员都关切的事。

This is a matter of the utmost importance.

这是个极其重要的问题。

The beauty of a porcelain jar is a matter of shape, of color,of surface texture.

瓷瓶的美丽在于形状、颜色和表面纹理。
