I've gotten to the point where I can be around some difficult people without feeling the need to be so reactive fix them to make them happier or want to avoid them.

请问此处的so reactive fix them是否应为so reactive to fix them？为何能够省略to？或者是与so相关其他结构？

原句明显错误，应该为 to be so reactive as to fix them...。
