2 What引导的宾语从句

The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.

1.doing这里现在分词吗，感觉不像是现在进行时啊，还是动名词？

2.这里what people say you can not do是what引导的宾从

实际上就是 people say you can not do what，what做宾语

但是people say you can not do 应该省略了 that，that宾语从句所以是people say that you can not do

所以就是what people say that you can not do，那这就很奇怪了啊，what在从句中没有做成分啊，而是做从句的从句的宾语成分，这是个什么情况啊？

1 doing what people say you cannot do 这是动名词短语作表语。

2 what people say you cannot do 为嵌入式名词性关系分句。即what在people say的宾语从句中作宾语。what为融合型关系代词，= the thing which，the thing which people say (that) you cannot do. which people say (that) you cannot do为嵌入式定语从句，修饰the thing.
