剑桥英语语法1037页对relativised element的定义如下：
The essential anaphoric element in a relative clause we call the relativised element. （我们把关系分句中的基本后照应成分称为关系化成分。）
在下面这个关系分句中，划线的which就是relativised element.
This is the letter [which drew our attention to the problem].
由此可知，relativised element 指的是关系化的成分，即关系词在关系分句中所做的成分。
