专家老师，蓝色线那句话有不妥吧？应该改为couldn’t begin to do any other things until he fell asleep才符合文意。

在本文语境中，加不加begin 意思基本相同。一般当can表示能力时，会有差别。如：I can't swim. 我不会游泳（表示能力）。At the moment,I can't begin to swim. 现在我不能开始游泳。（可能是多种原因，如水太冷，或没到规定时间等，但不是不会游泳。）
