2 句子间可以省略连词and
If blood pressure falls in the vessels of the kidney, so that blood flow diminishes, the kidney produces renin and discharges it into the blood.
英语中不是不能只用逗号分隔独立句子吗，请问第三个分句前为什么没有连词（比如and）？
或者是if、so that有什么特殊用法？谢谢！

so that blood flow diminishes是if条件状语从句中的结果状语从句，the kidney produces renin and discharges it into the blood.是主句，其前不能加and，否则没有主句了。
