句中的you got没有问题, 也可以改用一般现在时或现在完成时。

用you got/ have got, 有两种可能:

1. 说句话时数据已经获得。

2. 说话时数据还没获得，但会在do a survey之前获得。

如果使用you get, 是指do a survey前获得数据。

请参考《剑桥语法》p 139 页的相似例句和解释：

41 ii If you don’t buy it you will soon envy the one who did.

Note that we can replace did in [41ii] by does, but this does not change the temporal location of the situation.
