这三个doing分别作什么成分呢？都是动名词短语吗？

spend time (in) doing sth 和 be busy (in) doing sth 这二个结构中，介词in是可有可无的。如果有介词in，则其后的doing为动名词；如果没有in，则其后的doing分析为现在分词。无论是否有in，（in）doing都是方面状语，分别修饰动词spend或形容词busy。

keep sb doing sth 这个结构中，doing sth为现在分词作宾补，不是动名词。

spend time in doing sth 的结构，现代英语已经认为是错误的，国内出版的书籍和词典可能依然保留这种用法。但在外刊阅读中没有遇到过这种用法。The free dictionary 引用柯林斯惯用法词典的说法，明确指出在spend time句式中不能用in doing，要用doing.

Be Careful!
Don't say that someone spends a period of time 'in doing', 'on doing', or 'to do' something.

Don't say, for example, 'We spent the evening in talking about art'.
