next day (week, month, year)可以表示以现在（或过去某个时间点）为参照点的“下一/第二天（周、月、年）” ；the next day (week, month, year)只能表示以过去某个时间点为参照点的“下一/第二天（周、月、年）”。例如：

1. I shall / will go there next year (day, week, month). 我将于明年（明天，下周，下月）去那里。（在next前面不能加 the）

2. He called for a meeting next week.(摘自A Comprehensive Grammar of The English Language by Randolph Quirk et al ,1985；这里 next week 所指的时间以 called for 的时间为参照点，在 next week 前面可以加 the)
