1 It was not that Bruce always underestimated difficulties. it指代前一句话的内容，that从句含有原因的意味。句子的意思是，这并不是因为布鲁斯总是低估困难，（接后句）他只是没有危险感而已。

2 possibly在此是中位状语，中位状语的位置是弱读的操作词是后，所以as fast as it could possibly go，could在这里是弱读的，go重读。 as soon as I possibly can中，can后省略了come，或者说can替代了can come, 此时can是重读的，中位状语要放在重读的操作词之前。二个句子意思一样，只是操作词的读音不同，这就决定了中位状语的位置。

3 不可以说 as fast as it possibly could go，因为could在此是弱读的。They tried everything they could possibly to improve the situation. 这句错误，could替代了could try，could是必须重读的，中位状语放在重读的操作词之后为错误。I will come as soon as I can possibly. 这个句子也是错误的，同样的错误，误将中位状语放在了重读的操作词之后了。我多次告诫同学，不要自作多情随便改动句子，你应该注意观察母语人士如何说话，以便于你模仿。你自己随便改动的结果十有八九都是错误的。这是非常不好的学习方法！
