如果认为英语只能说 do a good job of doing sth（把某事做得很好），而不能说 do a good job in doing sth 或 do a good job to do sth——这有点太绝对；如果认为这几种形式可以任意替换，我觉得也不是很严谨。

我的理解是：在网友的语境中，do a good job of doing sth（把某事做得很好）是最通常的用法，至于 do a good job in doing sth 和 do a good job to do sth，英语可以这样说（不算错），但比较少见。
