how many和how much是疑问代词还是疑问副词

how many students are there? there are 5 students.这句话中how many是对there are 5 students.中的表语进行提问，也就是说how many做表语，那这的how many做疑问代词?

同理用法的how much water is there? There are...也是对答语的表语进行提问，how much也是疑问代词?

how much is the book?中how much也是疑问代词吗？

many和much在这二个句子中分别都是限定词，how作为疑问副词修饰many和much，然后how many/how much 作为疑问限定短语限定名词，疑问副词+限定词+名词构成疑问短语，置于特殊疑问句句首。
