2 understand可以用进行时么

I’m understanding the problem less and less the more I think about it.

请问这里的understand用现在进行体正确吗？

赞同曹老师的解答，understanding 当表示变化时，可以用进行体。但有一个地方我的理解略有不同。在the more ... the more 的结构中，也可以这样用，但一般用在主句，不用于分句，因为主句是强调的重心。说话人的目的是强调这种变化的发生。网友句子就属于这种情形。我补充一个例句：The more we travel and see, the more we are understanding that everything we see has been born out of necessity. （出自小说Changing Lives，Chapter 6, 作者：Tricia Tunstall）。如果分句使用are understanding的形式，通常采用其他状语从句形式，如：As she is understanding more, she is taking more chances with English.

静态动词在一定的语境中可以活用为动态动词中的状态动词，即表示从一种状态向另一种状态的转换，进行体表示这种转换处于量变后期，接近质变，但质变还没有真正发生。例如：

I‘m liking it here. 我有点喜欢这里了。

She is resembling her mother. 她长得越来越像她母亲了。

I think I‘m understanding it now. 我觉得我现在有点明白了。

你的句子中，understand用进行体就是这种用法，表示由理解向不理解的状态的转换。只不过你的句子属于the more..., the more...句型的变体，这个句子本身就表示一个变化过程，主句用进行体似乎是多余的，用一般体即可。例如：

I understand the problem less，the more I think about it. 主句在前，从句在后。

The more I think about the problem, the less I understand it. 从句在前，主句在后。
