原来认为用于名词前作修饰语的 fun 是名词，即用作名词放在另一名词前作定语；但现在新出版的英语词典一般都认为它是用作形容词（只用于名词前作定语，不用作表语，英语词典上的标记为 only before noun）。如：

Barcelona is a fun city. 巴塞罗那是一座有趣的城市。

She's a fun person to be with. 和她在一起很开心。

The park is a fun place to visit. 这公园是个好玩的去处。

We had a fun time at the movie. 我们看电影时很开心。

注意：正因为 fun 用作形容词时只用于名词作定语，不用作表语，所以当 fun 处于表语位置时，它是名词，不是形容词，此时可以用 great, good 等形容词修饰，但不能用 very 之类的副词修饰。如：
