作为动词，dress可以及物，也可以不及物。在第一句中dress为不及物动词，people dressing as Franklin 为动名词复合结构作involves的宾语。第二句中为dressed为及物动词的过去分词，作定语修饰people，表示穿上衣服后的状态。
