请问over time为什么没有冠词？是省略了冠词吗？

注意over time 是习语，其中不用冠词（不是省略了冠词，而是根本不用冠词），其意为“随着时间的推移慢慢地……”，可解释为as time passes，有些词典干脆简单地解释为 slowly, gradually。又如：

Perceptions change over time. 观点随时间而变。

The pain will lessen over time. 疼痛会慢慢减轻。

The rocks have eroded away over time. 随着时间的流逝，岩石慢慢风化。

The coin’s date had been smoothed away over time. 硬币上的年代被慢慢磨平了。

比较下面的句子，over the time 指“在时间方面”“对……的时间”等：

We had a slight misunderstanding over the time. 我们在时间方面意见稍有分歧。

There was a misunderstanding over the time of the meeting. 对于开会的时间还有误解。
