(especially) as 可以引导时间状语从句和原因状语从句。根据句意，这里的 (especially) as 引导的是原因状语从句（句中的 would be 为过去将来时）。especially as的意思是“尤其是因为……”。句意：
Claire didn't want the robot in her house, especially as her husband would be away on a business trip for three weeks. 克莱尔不想把这个机器人放在家里，尤其是因为她的丈夫要出三个星期的差。
