按理说，当 a group of questions 作主语时，其后的动词用单数（视为整体）或复数（考虑其个体）都可以。如：
A group of girls was / were waiting at the school gate. 一群女孩子在校门口等着。
A group of enthusiasts has / have undertaken the reconstruction of a steam locomotive. 一群热心者已经承担起一台蒸汽机车的复原工作。
但网友的句子最好用复数动词，因为其后用了复数代词：
