To do sth is to do sth的语法分析

To say that you are a poor cook is to do yourself an injustice.

请问老师，句子里第一个to say为什么后面可以跟宾语从句呢？to do形式是不是可以理解成一件事情。

第二个cook is to do是表达什么意思呢？

句子整体框架结构：A is B【To say sth is to do sth 说某事就是做某事】

A=to say that you are a poor cook 【不定式to say+that宾语从句】

B=to do yourself an injustice【不定式to do+间接宾语(yourself)+直接宾语(injustice)】

备注：do sb an injustice=do an injustice to sb 对某人不公平/不公正

你断句错误。To say that you are a poor cook 不定式短语作主语 is系词 to do yourself an injustice不定式短语作表语. A = B。不定式to say本身就是动词，所以可以后接宾语从句。说自己是个差劲的厨师就是对自己的不公正。
