I think there are moments in life when people decide not to love others and supreme moments when people decide to love no matter what. it seems many people either(就是这里) don't show love because they don't approve of certain people or they simply don't have the time to reach out to people. You can literally shut your heart away in a little box inside of you or you can open that box and let all that love flow out. It is really up to you.

这里的either应该是与后面的or连接的吧？但作为连词的either的位置让我很不理解，因为连接的两个部分不对称。

我这里理解的两个句子并列是这样的：

it seems either（either真正的位置） many people don't show love because they don't approve of certain people or they simply don't have the time to reach out to people.

不知道把either放在many前面构成either…or结构，这样理解是否正确？

这是同一个主语对两个不同动作的选择，either...or....的位置应该放在动词之前，保持对称。格式应为：

Sb. either does sth. or does sth. 否定句：Sb. either doesn't do sth. or doesn't do sth.

句子主干是：Many people either don't show love or don't have the time to reach out to people.
