通常认为like, love, hate, take这类动词不可后接that从句。词典中是没有love后接that从句的用法的。当语义上需要后接that从句时，需要形式宾语it 过渡，即 like it that, love it that, have it that, hate it that, take it that.

但是COCA语料库中却有不少love直接后接that从句做宾语的例句，如：

I don't even totally get that joke, but I love that it shows they don't take themselves too seriously.

so I love that it gets a little place of its own.

I love that they are contained and being preserved!

Obviously we LOVE that you paint such colorful scenes of Paris.

I love that there's so much nuanced, complex, awesome art to drink in.

Also, I love that you used a WW tip!

I also love that it dries totally clear and I can use it day or night.

I love that your Dad is secure enough to not need you to need him.

I love that women will let you believe that the child is yours, fulfilling your dreams.

I love that you're making your husband's favorite dish.

PGA may love that it was fought tooth and nail to get made.

I love that it's not messy fun.

COCA这种句子至少有好几百个。说明在美国英语非正式语体中，love直接后接that从句已经相当普遍了。但英国语料库BNC中却没有一例这种句子。

高考卷所选文章可能选自美国作者的文章，这种用法在美国可能已经被接受了吧。

有人在WR网站提问 I love (it) that my children enjoy school.这个句子，一位美国人的回答是：Both are grammatical, not much different. 而一位英国人的回答是：You are not likely to hear this in BE, although it seems to be common in spoken AE. I would say I love it when ... or I love the fact that my children ...

现代英语中，这两种用法都存在，但有些母语的人认为love it that 比love that要规范些。一般来说这种用法多见于非正式文体。关于这两种用法，我在语料库各选了几个例句，供参考。我们暂且把它看作现代英语的新发展来接受。

通常情况像“like, dislike, hate,love, have, appreciate, take, put,prefer, appreciate,”这类动词不可以直接接that/if/when等宾语从句，必须先接it形式宾语(或者虚拟宾语)，在接that/if/when宾语从句。(备注：it可以理解为指代后面that/if/when从句内容)

【1】like it that… 很高兴……

I like it that you came. 你来了，我很高兴。

We like it that you can lend us the money. 很高兴，你能借钱给我们。

【2】have it that… 据说……；据传言......据传闻……

Legend has it that Wu Sung is buried at Hangzhou.传说武松葬在杭州。

Report has it that the Smiths are leaving town.有传言说史密斯一家要离开这座城市。

Rumor has it that the defense minister will soon resign.据传闻，国防部长不久就要辞职。

【3】put it that… 理解为……；可以说是……

You can put it that it was arranged before. 你可以说这是以前安排的。

【4】take it that… 假定……；猜想……；认为……

I take it that you have been out. 我猜你刚出去回来。

I take it that he will come on time. 我认为他会准时来的。

I take it that we are to leave early. 我想我们动身会很早的。

【5】like it +if

She won’t like it if you arrive late. 她不喜欢你迟到。

【6】hate it +when

He hates it when people use his bike. 他讨厌别人用他的自行车。

【7】hate it+if

I hate it if you say such things in public. 我讨厌你在大庭广众之下说那样的事。

【8】prefer it+if

I’d prefer it if I didn’t have to do so much work. 要是我不必做那么多工作，那就太好了。

【9】appreciate it+if

I would appreciate it very much if you would help me with it. 如果你能帮助我做这事，我会十分感激。

备注：有些动词+介词，后也不能直接跟宾语从句，也必须加形式宾语it在接宾语从句。

结构动词+介词+it +that 结构

按英语习惯，介词后通常不能直接跟that从句作宾语，但有个别特殊结构就在介词后先接it作形式宾语，再跟that从句，如look to it that, see to it that, depend upon it that, rely on it that, answer for it that等。

【1】look to it that

Look to it that you do not fall. 注意别摔倒了。

Look to it that this doesn’t happen again. 注意不要让这事再发生。

【2】see to it that

See to it that you are not late again. 注意别再迟到了。

Please see to it that the door is locked. 请留意一下把门锁好。

I’ll see to it that everything is ready in time. 我负责使这一切按时准备好。

【3】 depend upon it that

You may depend on it that they will support you. 你相信好了，他们会支持你的。

You may depend upon it that we shall never lose heart. 你放心我们绝不会灰心。

【4】rely on it that

You may rely on it that he will come to meet you. 你放心，他会来接你的。

You can rely on it that I will keep your secret. 你尽管相信，我一定会为你保密。

【5】insist on it that

He insisted on it that I (should) go with him. 他坚持要我同他一起去。

He insisted on it that we (should) accept these gifts. 他一定要我们收下这些礼物。

【6】answer for it that

I can’t answer for it that he is honest. 我不能保证他是诚实的。
