At the time, however, she was not only the largest ship that had ever been built, but was regarded as unsinkable,
for she had sixteen watertight compartments. Even if two of these were flooded, she would still be able to float.
The tragic sinking of this great liner will always be remembered, for she went down on her first voyage with heavy loss of life.
老师:
1) was regarded as unsinkable - 是否省略了to be, 即 was regarded as to be unsinkable ?
2) Even if two of these were flooded, she would still be able to float. -
3) 另外,书上说with heavy loss of life是结果状语,可我感觉应该是“伴随状语”?
所以不可以加to be。 即as (being) unsinkable.
