关于when和where引导从句作介词宾语的疑问句问题

①Where you go it from？这个句子的回答可以是

I got it from there.

那么这个问句中where其实是对there的提问.

那么② I will go back until after exam.这个句子如果提问的话是否为when you will go back until？

但是太别扭了，我感觉应该是when you will go back.

老师大大们，我的疑惑是为什么where引导的疑问句可以仅仅对陈述句的一部分进行提问，而when却不可以

1 I came from the school. 我从学校过来的。

就黑体部分提问，得到特殊疑问句：Where did you come from? (你看看的问句，该倒装的地方没有倒装。）

2 I will stay here until after the exam.

就黑体部分提问，得到特殊疑问句：Until when will you stay here? (看看你的句子，go为非延续性动词，在肯定句不可以和until连用！）

3 We have known each other since 1990.

就黑体部分提问得到：Since when have you known each other?
